Mission & Vision Statement Mission Statement The mission of Bridges to Sudan is to be the 'bridge' that closes the gaps to services for the Sudanese both locally and internationally. Our Vision Bridges to Sudan will: Be the support arm of the Sudanese beyond the initial resettlement process Respect all for their cultural differences, but educate on the laws and rules that must be adhered to in the U.S. Instill empowerment by training and awareness to the Sudanese and to the Jacksonville community Develop programs that will benefit here and in their homeland Go forward even when there are obstacles because of cultural barriers Evaluate our programs on the most critical issues preventing the Sudanese from success beyond their  education Surround ourselves with positive reinforcements to help in the building of character, spirituality, and in the rebuilding of lives
