| UNF Honors Class Event!
It was a moving and memorable experience for 100 Honors Students at UNF. Bridges to Sudan along with other Non-Profits
were on a Panel and spoke to the students to educate them on the Non-Profit world and information about Refugees here in Jacksonville.
A big thank you to Dr. Leslie Kaplan and her Department for having us be a part of the panel and for allowing us to share
information with all! We have received much response and caring words and how helpful it has been to all the students.

Pumpkin Patch Party at Christ's Church Mandarin
10/29/2010 was another memorable night for the Sudanese children and some of their
families. Thanks to Liz Granite, Momma Chol and the Volunteers at Christ's Church Mandarin. This field trip was
a wonderful way for all to experience the Halloween Holiday. There were bounce houses, good food, candy, and great
fellowship for all. The parents got to enjoy time to visit, eat special treats and enjoy the night as much as the children.
It was a terrific time had by everyone!!

New Partnerships & a New Club
Bridges to Sudan is helping others in need as well! Bridges has partnered with 3 new non-profits-Florida Surfing Association,
Project Share, and Surfers for Autism. It is a great way for Bridges to give back to the community and raise funds together!
ALSO, a big thank you to Anna Bauman of Episcopal High School for the formation of a Bridges to Sudan Club!
We look forward to working with all of you and Good Luck!! We continue to work with many groups at
UNF and other schools. |
